eCSL Word Frequency Counts

As part of the eCSL conversion process, and by using the Searchable English Text facility, it is possible to compile lists of frequently occurring words. (Working by hand, this task could take months, even years!)

The following example shows lists of the Top 50 Verbs and Top 50 Nouns that appear in Maha-bharata IX: Shalya (volume one of two). Translated by Justin Meiland.

These lists offer a rapid overview of the main points covered in each book.

When used as a teaching tool, the lists can provide an objective summary of the content of the eCSL Volumes.
